While continuing to enjoy success of songs like "Find You" on local radio and at shows, songwriters Dan Ryan and Greg Wellham have continued to expand on their brand of "polished rock songs steeped in pop traditionalism" (Wesley Case, Baltimore Sun) joined by Brian Brunsman on bass, Jon Birkholz on keyboards and guitar, and Ian Viera on drums. The album was recorded in the fall of 2014 by Chris Freeland at Beat Babies Studios (Wye Oak, Lower Dens, Horse Lords, Bosley, Letitia Van Sant, Wildhoney, Future Islands, Double Dagger, Secret Mountains, Arboretum) and features extended string and horn arrangements in addition to the intricate, guitar driven pop and rock the band is known for. “Super City brings together expert musicianship with an ear for songwriting.
