FRACTAL CAT
This seven-piece psychedelic rock ‘n’ roll band combines multipart harmonies with lyrical themes combining social commentary and mysticism, making their live show nothing short of fantastic. Encapsulating their sonic brilliance and swagger of decades past, the band released The Tower (2017) live in studio at Baltimore's WTMD Radio–an appropriate move for their third album, consisting of all-original material. That station also named “Tryptide” from the band’s previous album Lovingkind one of the top 14 Baltimore songs of 2014. With a new record being distributed through renowned international distributor The Orchard, to having their latest video on rotation and nationally syndicated, Fractal Cat is on their way.
JACK FUNK
This grunge funk 4-piece from Frederick, Maryland takes a sharp rock approach to progressive funk music. By sonically creating a fictional world hauntingly similar to the one we all share, Jack Funk blends gritty, surrealist-style songwriting with funky instrumentation and improv. Raspy, soulful vocals, thought-provoking lyrics, melodic guitar leads, deep and dancy pockets, and primal, Bonham-esque drumming give Jack Funk a sound that gets people moving and thinking.
